Associate Attorney
Christine Choong is a recent graduate of Seattle University School of Law with a deep commitment to immigration law and advocacy. Driven by a passion for supporting immigrant communities, Christine has developed a strong foundation in immigration policies and procedures, focusing on ensuring justice and fair representation for those seeking new opportunities in the United States. Her personal journey has instilled in her a deep understanding of the transformative power of compassion, which she brings to every aspect of her work.
Born and raised in Malaysia, Christine moved to the United States in 2016 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from San Diego State University. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor from Seattle University School of Law in 2024. During her time in law school, she served as Events Director for the Asian Law Students Association, where she organized community-building initiatives and mentored aspiring law students. Christine also gained extensive practical experience through internships with the Northwest Immigrant Rights Project, the Seattle University Immigrant Justice Clinic, and a private immigration defense firm in downtown Seattle.
Christine's achievements include receiving the Clinical Legal Education Association's Outstanding Clinic Team Award in 2024, alongside her clinic partner, in recognition of their work on a Special Immigrant Juvenile Status case. She was also recognized as one of the 25 Law Students Who Soar, reflecting her excellence in academic and professional pursuits.
Christine is fluent in Malay, Mandarin, Cantonese, and English.
In her free time, Christine enjoys reading novels, exploring new restaurants, and volunteering at legal clinics.
